Printed in brown, this 30 cent engraved stamp from the 1913 “Reaper Issue” presents a dynamic scene of harvest labor. A solitary reaper works the field beneath rays of light and the arching sky. Issued ungummed, on paper without watermark, and perforated 14. The stamp has a strong postmark and visible signs of use, including a paper repair on the reverse.
