Issued in 1902 as part of the London Print Coiling Dragon series, this Chinese Imperial Post stamp is denominated at half a cent. The stamp is rendered in a deep chocolate brown color and printed by Waterlow & Sons Ltd using engraved printing techniques. It features a finely detailed coiling dragon design without watermark and comes in a 22 x 26 mm format with variable perforations. This variant corresponds to Stanley Gibbons CN-IM 121a and China Stamp Society CN-IM 125a, though it remains unlisted in Yvert et Tellier.
