From the 1913 “Reaper Issue” of the Republic of China, this 15 cent stamp features a laborer harvesting wheat with the Temple of Heaven (天壇) in the background—an image that merges traditional agrarian values with national symbolism. Printed in deep blue using intaglio by Waterlow & Sons Ltd., the stamp has a comb perforation of 14 and is ungummed. The paper lacks watermark. The cancellation is dark but clear, and the reverse shows faint paper toning. This issue is listed as Michel CN-IM 157 I, Scott CN-IM 211, Yvert et Tellier CN-IM 154, Stanley Gibbons CN-IM 277, and China Stamp Society CN-IM 249. Estimate "$10 – 18"
