Soviet Union 1957, Definitive Issue 6 (1939–56), 5-kopeck stamp in brown red featuring a miner, designed by V. Sidelnikov and printed using offset lithography without watermark. Measuring 18 x 26 mm, the stamp has comb perforation 12 x 12½ and was issued as a regular definitive stamp reflecting the USSR’s industrial ideology, with imagery centered on the working man in mining and metallurgy. Catalogued as Michel SU 676IIA, Yvert et Tellier SU 1910, Stanley Gibbons SU 1214a, AFA SU 2097, Unificato SU 1910, and Zagorskiy SU 1878. Presented here as a complete sheet of 100 stamps, all postmarked and clearly cancelled. The front shows clean strikes from 1959, while the reverse confirms full gum loss with visible hinge and aging marks.
