Issued on January 1, 1949, this lithographed stamp in dark blue was originally created as a fiscal issue and later repurposed as a definitive during hyperinflation. The design features symbolic images of a passenger ship, a train, and an aircraft—representing transportation and national modernization. Printed on unwatermarked paper and perforated 12.5, the stamp measures 26 x 23 mm.
