This 1 fen stamp block from the 1936 fourth definitive issue of Manchukuo features the National Parliament building in Hsinking (modern-day Changchun), symbolizing the administrative seat of the Japanese-established puppet state. The design, framed with ornamental snowflake and leaf motifs, reflects both seasonal symbolism and imperial aspirations. Issued on December 5, 1936, the stamp was printed in carmine brown by gravure and bears a multiple Chinese character watermark in upright orientation. It has comb perforation measuring 13 x 13½ and was used primarily for low-denomination domestic correspondence. The issue is cataloged as Michel CN-MA 76, Scott CN-MA 84, Yvert et Tellier CN-MA 75, Stanley Gibbons CN-MA 80, China Stamp Society CN-MA MC81, and Sakura CN-MA 80.
