Issued in March 1922 as part of the German Empire’s “Workers” definitive series, this 150 Pfennig stamp features a farmer operating a reaper, symbolizing agricultural labor during the early Weimar Republic. Designed by Paul Neu and printed typographically by the Reichsdruckerei in Berlin, the stamp is rendered in dark orange, measures 22 by 26 mm, and is perforated comb 14 x 14¼. It is printed on paper with an upright waffle watermark, consistent with the inflation-era security features used during this period. Catalogued as Michel DR 189 (Scott DE 175, Yvert DR 172, Gibbons DR 188, Unificato DR 172), this example is a complete mint never hinged sheet of 100 stamps with full original gum, sharp perforations, and no folds or separations. A striking and well-preserved sheet reflecting Germany’s agrarian identity during a time of economic upheaval. Estimate "$220 – 260"
