This postal cover, sent from Korea to Japan in 1915, is franked with a single 3 sen carmine stamp from the 1914–1925 Tazawa “old die” definitive series. Issued on May 20, 1914, the stamp was printed by typography on granite paper with an upward-facing type 4 wavy lines watermark. It measures 21 x 26 mm and is perforated 12 x 12½ using the comb method. The design belongs to the floral and coats of arms theme, typical of the early Taishō period. Bearing the full circular Japanese postmark dated 2.4.13 (Taishō 4 = 1915), this cover reflects the postal integration of Korea into the Japanese imperial system following annexation in 1910. The front and reverse are fully handwritten in brush script, offering both aesthetic appeal and historical context. Despite minor edge faults, the item remains in excellent condition for its age.
