This used group of four definitive stamps from French Indochina represents the lower denominations of the Type Grasset issue, first released in June 1904. The series features an allegorical female figure, symbolizing France, holding a sword and olive branch with a maritime anchor in the background—an embodiment of republican values, peace, and colonial presence. Designed by the renowned Art Nouveau artist Eugène Grasset and printed typographically by the Imperial Printing Office in Paris, these stamps are finely executed on colored paper without watermark and have a perforation of 14 x 13½. The denominations shown here include: 1 centime in olive green (Sc 24), 2 centimes in carmine (Sc 25), 4 centimes in dull purple (Sc 26), and 5 centimes in green (Sc 27). Each bears a clear date or circular cancellation, indicating postal use across the French colonial network in Southeast Asia. As a full low-value set in postally used condition, this group offers strong visual coherence and historical relevance in the context of early 20th-century Indo-Chinese philately. Estimate "$25 – 40"
