This is a complete mint never hinged sheet of 50 stamps from Italy’s 1901 definitive series featuring the heraldic Savoy eagle, with the 1 centesimo denomination printed in brown. The stamps are typographed and issued on unwatermarked paper with Crown type watermark (type 11), and were printed by Officina Carte Valori Torino. Each stamp measures 20 x 24 mm and is perforated using a comb gauge of 14. The design by Alberto Repettati and Giuseppe Cellini is an intricate composition of floral borders framing the stylised eagle of Savoy, an emblem of royal authority and national unity. This sheet includes the full sheet margin inscription "100 FRANC. POSTALI VALE LIRE 1", and features the rare inverted bottom inscription "POSTALI VALE LIRE" in the selvedge, indicating a printing guide or positioning mark. The stamps are fresh with full original gum and unmounted. Full sheets of this early 20th-century issue are becoming scarce, especially in such pristine condition, and are highly sought after for both aesthetic and historical interest. Estimate "$250 – 350"
