Japan to Korea 1915, postal cover bearing a block of four 1 sen brown stamps from the Chrysanthemum definitive series, originally issued April 1, 1899. Designed by Tomaso Saito and printed via typography with varying perforations, the stamps feature the Imperial chrysanthemum crest and stylized paulownia as national emblems of the Emperor. This series was widely used throughout the Japanese Empire, including occupied Korea during colonial rule. Each stamp measures 21 x 26 mm and is presented here in a clean, fine used condition with clear cancellations tying the block to a cover.
