An elegant and complete envelope sent from Korea on June 17, 1914, bearing a violet 5 sen stamp from the Tazawa series issued under Japanese administration via the Japanese Post Office in China. Printed by typography with a wavy line watermark (Type 4, upward) and perforation 13 x 13½, the stamp carries a formal overprint and was used for overseas and inter-regional communications in Korea during Japanese occupation. The floral design and classic chrysanthemum crest symbolize imperial authority and botanical tradition. Catalogued as Michel JP OC 39, Stamp Number JP OC 39, Yvert CN-JP 39, Stanley Gibbons JP OC 39, and Sakura JP OC 41. The envelope is intact and postmarked clearly on both sides, with hand-brushed calligraphy enhancing its aesthetic and historical value. The stamp is well-centered and tied by a readable cancel.
