The stamp features a detailed orange map of the Shanghai-Nanking region, symbolizing national restoration and sovereignty. Issued on August 1, 1944, and printed using gravure technology without watermark, this commemorative issue is perforated 12 x 12½. The design incorporates the Kuomintang sun emblem and place names in Chinese, emphasizing national pride during a period of foreign occupation.
