Issued in 1937 as part of the Fourth Definitive series of Manchukuo under Japanese occupation, this full mint never hinged sheet of 100 features the 2 fen denomination in yellow-green, printed using gravure on silk-thread paper with comb perforation 13 x 13½ and a watermark of Chinese characters facing up. The stamp design depicts an agricultural wagon drawn by oxen, highlighting the state’s emphasis on self-sufficiency, rural labor, and transport infrastructure under the Japanese-controlled regime. A rare complete sheet from this wartime puppet state, it encapsulates the blend of imperial propaganda and utilitarian design typical of the period. Catalogued as Scott MA 86, Michel CN-MA 99, Yvert CN-MA 91, Stanley Gibbons CN-MA 82, CSS CN-MA MC83, and Sakura CN-MA 82. This sheet retains full selvedge and original gum, showing typical light wrinkling, with a minor paper flaw in the lower right margin and two small rust specks in the top selvage, otherwise in pristine condition.
