This is a complete mint never hinged sheet from the 1937 issue by the Japanese puppet state of Manchukuo, featuring the stylized state crest with orchid motif in violet. The issue, valued at 2½ fen, was printed using gravure technique and shows the characteristic multiple Chinese character watermark in upright orientation. It was perforated line 13 x 13½ and intended for regular daily use. The design emphasizes national symbolism with floral and heraldic elements, aligning with imperial propaganda of the time. Issued shortly before the full-scale Sino-Japanese conflict, the sheet offers both aesthetic appeal and historical gravity. The condition is pristine MNH with intact selvedge and full gum, though the lower right corner shows a format indentation. Estimate "$300 – 375"
