Issued in 1917 by the Russian Post Office in China, this full sheet of 100 stamps features the iconic imperial Russian eagle overprint on a 50-kopek design in carmine red and green. These stamps, originally printed for domestic use, were adapted for Chinese postal zones during a time of significant geopolitical activity. The stamps were typographed on vertically laid paper and show the imperial emblem boldly superimposed over the ornate frame and green oval center bearing the Russian coat of arms. Measuring 18 x 24 mm with comb perforation 14 x 14½, they were produced for use in treaty ports such as Harbin and Tientsin. The sheet is preserved in pristine mint never hinged (MNH) condition, showing full original gum and vibrant colors with no signs of foxing or toning. Its exceptional state and complete layout add significant appeal for collectors specializing in Russian foreign post or postal history of China under foreign administrations. Estimate "$400 – 550"
