This mint never hinged block of fifteen from the 1915 definitive “Peking Print” series depicts a stylized Chinese junk ship sailing leftward, printed in yellow green by the Chinese Bureau of Engraving and Printing (PBMF) using gravure on thin unwatermarked paper. Measuring 22 by 24 mm and line perforated 14, the issue belongs to the first definitive series under the Republic of China, featuring national imagery such as the Reaper and Hall of Classics in other denominations. The present 2-cent value showcases maritime trade, reflecting China's modernizing economy and national identity. Notable in this top-margin block is the full printer’s inscription “CHINESE BUREAU OF ENGRAVING AND PRINTING” visible at top, along with sheet number “7” at upper right. Catalogued as Scott IM 223, this multiple is well-preserved with strong color, fresh gum, and immaculate perforations throughout. Estimate "$220 – 260"
