Issued by the German colony of Kiautschou in China, this set features four pristine mint never hinged stamps from the 1905 regular issue depicting the Imperial German yacht SMS Hohenzollern, an emblem of naval prestige and colonial influence. Printed typographically by the Reichsdruckerei Berlin and measuring 22 x 26 mm, these stamps lack watermark and were perforated 14 x 14½ using the comb method. The brown 1 cent and blue 10 cent denominations reflect the maritime theme with detailed illustrations of steamships, representative of German naval presence in East Asia during the pre-World War I period. With no gum disturbance and exhibiting very fine centering, these stamps exemplify both technical quality and historical significance from the imperial colonial era. Estimate "$120 – 160"
