Issued on May 20, 1893, by the Hankow Local Post Office, this 5 cent green stamp was typographically printed on distinctive salmon-colored paper and features a design associated with transport and local administration. Part of China's treaty port postal system, the stamp has a unique combination of rolled perforation 10 on two sides and imperforate edges on the others. This pair of stamps is mint never hinged with clean margins, original gum, and strong color retention. Catalogued as Scott HAN2, Michel CN-HA 2, and Stanley Gibbons CN-HA 2, it is a scarce local post multiple from the late Qing treaty port era. Estimate "$130 – 160"
